Lyn Gardner is a journalist and novelist. She is associate editor of The Stage and Stagedoor. She has written about theatre and performance for The Guardian and The Independent, and she was a founder member of City Limits, the largest publishing co-op in Europe.
Awards for her work include: The an Action for Children's Arts Award for Outstanding Contribution to Children's Arts, a Total Theatre Award Significant Contribution Award for her work on the Edinburgh Fringe, a UK Theatre Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Theatre, and a 2018 Tonic Award for Theatre journalism.
Her novels for children include Into the Woods and Out of the Woods for David Fickling Books, the Ghastly McNasty series for Piccadilly, and the Olivia Stage School and Rose Campion novels for Nosy Crow.
