Thomas Tyler is a multidisciplinary artist, who's work responds to a condition descending into further simulation... his practice is a "multidisciplinary" study of noise (,noise being a grey area far from reason, but not quite absurd). Thomas has exhibited and performed his work internationally, and released (none-)music on labels such as Opal Tapes, Deathbed Tapes, Steep Gloss and his own label Base Materialism.

As part of Newcastle Fringe Festival Thomas will be performing a semi-improvised live set--utilising field recordings, tape loops and anti-instrumentation to compose an immersive ambient soundscape.
